In The Big Apple/The Finale!

Finally the cycle is over! We get a weak winner to finish off this cycle but whatever. Alice and Amanda make up for all of the blah winners.

1.-ALEXANDRA

Love. I love the outfit on Alexandra and how she's kind of running away from the studio set or something. This is awesome and a strong ending for Alexandra.

2.-DEMELZA

Boring, washed out, terrible shoes...I would have never thought that Demelza was a model from this image. I think that she has some qualities that are great for modeling (like her face) but here it just looks MySpace.

3.-SAMANTHA

This is bad. After having some strong weeks, Samantha has fallen and now looks like a cheap taxi driver with a poodle on their head. I am starting to love Samantha more and more but this is weak.

This would have been my dream elimination order:

13. Emma (Terrible shot, boring girl, never took a stand out photo so yeah I'd eliminate her here)

12. Belinda (With Emma's hot mess photo out of the group, it's between Belinda and Leiden and although I love Belinda's personality, Leiden has potential to take some good photos.)

11. Jamie (Horrible photo, boring look, has yet to take a stand out photo so buh-bye!)

10. Leiden (Leiden is very limited as in the type of work she can do. This is a pretty shot but minus this shot and her shot last week, her shots have been bad.

9. Alamela (Alamela has potential to do some good work but she rarely used it and she's been given too many chances.

8. Kamila (I think that Kamila is a gorgeous girl and I really think that she was robbed, but I can't really see her shot this week being anything truly fantastic.)

7. Rebecca (Weakest girl of the 8/7 remaining besides Kamila so I'd drop her here)

6. Kristy (Kristy is amazing but I can't picture her being the type to make a standout shot with this shoot)

5. Demelza (Weakest of the 5 and hasn't taken great photos in a while.)

4. Alyce (Alyce is love, but Caris, Alex, and Sam trump her portfolio and look.)

3. Samantha (Samantha's shot was bad this week. I'd expect Caris' shot to be lovely and when everyone is on-par with each other, I have no choice but to eliminate Samantha here.)

2. Alexandra (Consistently great but Caris really trumps her)

1. Caris (She may have her flaws like her body but her portfolio is just lovely and her standout shots really helped me decide that she really should have won.)

Hot Couture Girl

Amazing shoot with amazing result but absolutely terrible elimination.

1.-CARIS

Absolutely fantastic shot. I love Caris' hands here and the face is just divine. My favorite shot of the cycle for sure. This is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo not elimination worthy.

2.-ALEXANDRA

This is so awesome. I love how quirky the shot looks and the angle are just lovely. Another hit from Ms. Fabulous.

3.-SAMANTHA

This is pretty good. I love the face and how confident she looks but the pose is not good since it doesn't show the dress well.

4.-DEMELZA

This is very pretty and I love how classically beautiful Demelza looks but compared to the other three, it's blah.

Oyster Magazine Shoot

After the lovely shoot last week, this is a step down, but whatever.

1.-SAMANTHA

Best of the week by far. I love the way the light hits Sam's face and how relaxed she looks.

2.-ALYCE

Of course, the week Alyce improves they eliminate her. Anyways, it's a pretty shot. Love how she looks like a princess who dropped something.

3.-CARIS

Caris, like Samantha is really really beautiful and you can tell here, but she looks really washed out.

4.-ALEXANDRA

This is okay. I don't understand why they chose this shot or shot in this angle since Alexandra looks like she's smelling her armpit.

5.-DEMELZA

Nice and relaxed, but her eyes look uneven and like she just farted.

Tigerlily Swimwear on the Beach

So there was a Fiji shoot but it's very blah and I think it was only a challenge but if you want to see it, then click here. Anyways, onto the fabulous Tigerlily shoot!

1.-CARIS

Absolutely amazing. Caris' face looks so sexy and inviting and her eyes are just love. Once again, fantastic!

2.-SAMANTHA

Samantha is doing absolutely nothing spectacular, but the simply natural shoot and the soft expression truly makes this shot love.

3.-ALEXANDRA

Just stunning. Love how Alexandra is laying there with a soft expression with fantastic eye contact. Love this so much.

4.-DEMELZA

I think this is pretty and I love how she kind of looks like a monster rising from the water but I wish that Demelza would a more darker expression...I think it would make the shot stronger.

5.-REBECCA

Rebecca is a gorgeous girl and obviously you can see that but she didn't really do anything in this shot that makes it stand out and unlike Sam, it doesn't work here.

6.-ALYCE

Very pretty, but very MySpace. It's a shame that Alyce has been weak right now since she really did fantastic in the beginning.

Pajama Shoot

Improvement from last shoot I guess but not really amazing.

1.-CARIS

Absolutely amazing. Love how Caris looks like she's saying he's mine, yet her face here looks soft and relax. Gorgeous and huge improvement.

2.-ALEXANDRA

I think this is a cute shot. Love how Alex's face look, and I love how she kind of looks like the pajama queen or something.

3.-DEMELZA

This is pretty much the same thing as Alexandra except I think Alex does it a smudge better.

4.-REBECCA

This is cute but nothing truly great. The pose is nice and shows off Rebecca's curves but the face looks weird.

5.-JAMIE

This is boring and nothing terrific but I think Jamie's face here looks sweet and pretty.

6.-SAMANTHA

This is a pretty shot because Samantha is a pretty girl but that's it. There's nothing truly fantastic about this shot.

7.-ALYCE

This would be ranked 4th if it wasn't that Alyce looked like a cougar. Still, it's not bad...it's just not a good modeling shot for her.

8.-LEIDEN

Same thing as Alyce but slightly worse. I wouldn't really expect Leiden to do good here TBH.

Terrible shoot, good elimination...let's get this over with.

1.-ALYCE (right)

I think this is very pretty. I love that soft, romantic face that Alyce is giving but she looks short.

2.-LEIDEN (center)

Very hard core, very punk...it's Leiden's genre and she is truly working it. The only thing is that she looks a bit mature.

3.-JAMIE (center)

This is a bit of a shock, but it's a pretty good shot of Jamie. I think that it's very pretty but I hate how her face looks here.

4.-SAMANTHA (left)

Very pretty. Samantha's legs look long but she looks a bit deer-in-the-headlights.

5.-DEMELZA (left)

I love the rich girl vibe Demelza gives here and I love how she's leaning on the car, but I think her face looks strange here.

6.-ALEXANDRA (right)

It's okay but Alex sadly got outshined.

7.-REBECCA (center)

The chin is raised too high and she looks cheap.

8.-CARIS (right)

I hate putting Caris this low but she looks short, the pose is terrible, and although her face looks pretty, it's just not a good shot.

This is just weird. The pose is stiff, the hair is terrible, and the face is boring.

Expensiveness

Awesome shoot. Almost all of the shots were at least good, but I'm not in the mood to write long critiques so they'll be a bit short.

1.-CARIS

Absolutely fantastic and flawless. Love how the dress looks, the big puffy hair, and her face is just divine.

2.-ALEXANDRA

I had a tough time deciding who to place second but overall I prefer Alex's shot this week. Love the symmetry from the pose to the hair and I love her strong facial expression.

3.-DEMELZA

Everything about this shot is absolutely fabulous minus the wonky eye. Still, it's Demelza's best shot by miles.

4.-ALYCE

Very aristocratic and once again very gorgeous.

5.-SAMANTHA

Absolutely fabulous. Love the pose and Samantha just looks fabulous here. The thing I hate though is the cropping but it isn't her fault so whatever!

6.-REBECCA

Curves, curves, curves. She is showing off her curves so amazingly well here. Love the hair as well and her confident expression.

7.-ALAMELA

Very pretty and very basic. Love her skin and her face looks nice here but it doesn't compare to the six above her.

8.-LEIDEN

A different look from Leiden and I think it works. Love the dress, the pose isn't as amazing but her face is probably one of the best facial expression she's photographed in career...it's really gorgeous.

9.-BELINDA

A bit awkward overall. The face looks clueless and the pose is just there. The dress is lovely though.

10.-JAMIE

Once again, not good. Face looks drag which is really strange since I always thought Jamie's face was pretty feminine.

Posing In The Air Like We Just Don't Care

A bit of a step up but still weak compared to Australia's past shoots.

1.-ALEXANDRA

Fabulous. Alexandra looks so tall and is definitely selling the shoes well. I love how she is leaping in the air like some professional climber.

2.-CARIS

This is gorgeous. Caris looks fairly long and I love her don't care attitude and she's selling the shoes.

3.-BELINDA

Unpopular I guess, but I really love this shot. I love that dark look in Belinda's eyes like she's up to something and I love how she kicked her leg out. The negative for me is that I don't like how her body looks here but whatever.

4.-LEIDEN

This is kind of like Alex's shot which is of course awesome. Love the pose (it kind of reminds me of a bird flying) and her face looks nice. Definitely Leiden's best shot.

5.-SAMANTHA

This is pretty awesome. Best part of it is definitely the face (like always). She looks really tall as well and the shoes look nice.

6.-ALYCE

This isn't on the same level as the five above Alyce but it's pretty good. I love how she like a royal heir. Not amazing but good.

7.-REBECCA

Nice shot, nice legs, sells the shoes but I hate how she's just there and not doing much.

8.-ALAMELA

I like the concept of the pose but the way she did it is very strange and makes her legs look like rubber and short. The face is just scared and isn't doing anything to help this shot.

9.-DEMELZA

This shot is a shot that showcases the Sydney landscape. Demelza just looks like some fly on the wall. She really isn't selling the shoes and she really isn't doing anything spectacular in this shot.

10.-EMMA

Her body and shoes look good but the pose is very stiff and makes her look like some doll photo shopped in the photo. The face is lacking but whatever, it's still probably Emma's best shot.

11.-JAMIE

Everything about this shot is bad. Her face is boring, her pose makes her legs look thick and short, and she isn't doing anything to make the shoes stand out.
