I Believe I Can Fly

So this shoot was inspired by Jean Batten and overall it was a nice shoot, nothing amazing although I did like it.

1.-LAURA

This is amazing. I love the power and strength that Laura has in this shot. She looks very tall here and I actually don't mind no-neck because I actually think it works.

2.-TERYL-LEIGH

This is such an awesome shot. Teryl-Leigh looks so tall here and I love how she's leaning on the plane and her face looks nice too. Overall, this is probably her second-best shot.

3.-CHRISTOBELLE

This is lovely. I love Christobelle's face and the wind in the hair. The only negative is that she looks a wee-bit short, but still everything else makes up for it.

4.-REBECCA ROSE

This is so awesome. I love how Rebecca Rose kind of looks like King Kong. She looks like a giant and overall, it's a great shot.

5.-VICTORIA

This is such an elegant shot. Victoria isn't really doing anything spectacular in this shot, but I think it works. Her face looks lovely, once again and she looks very tall.

6.-RUBY

So...this isn't necessarily fantastic/lovely like the five above her, but I do really like it. I love that understated confidence that Ruby has in this shot. On the negative side, her body looks a little bigger than normal, but I'm going to blame part of that on the clothes.

7.-OLIVIA

This is really cute. I really love Olivia's face here and the simple pose. I don't think that she really looks like a model here, but I really do like this photo a lot despite that.

8.-AJOH

This is really cool. Her skin looks great here and her legs do look long. The only thing I don't like about this is the white powder on her legs and her face. Still, it's a very good shot.

9.-LUCY

So, I really do like the pose, but her legs look a little short here and I don't really like how she's squinting her eyes. I do like the shot though, but those little flaws make the shot a little weaker.

10.-RHIANNON

Okay so pretty much the pose is lovely but I hate the snarl on Rhiannon's face. Well, at least she does look prettier than her other shot.

11.-SARAH

This is really boring. The pose is very stiff, awkward, and a little obvious while the face looks kind of "mature" and a little ugly. I'm actually starting to hate this shot more and more.

12.-HOSANNA

So probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm actually liking this. Hosanna looks very pretty here although a little bit short. It is a really boring shot though.

13.-TIFFANY

This is really dull, stiff, and awkward. The pose is very safe and the face doesn't say anything. Is it hooch like the judges said? NO WAY. Is it boring and elimination-worthy? Yup.

Swimsuits In The Lake

So...I'm going to be doing New Zealand's Next Top Model Cycle 1 now! Yay! The first shoot was the casting shoot where they had to be in swimsuits and pose in a lake. Overall, it was a decent shoot with some great shots and some not so great shots. Let's start this cycle!

1.-REBECCA ROSE

This girl...is seriously stunning. I remember seeing her in the casting episode and I always thought that she looked amazing every single second of the day (and she had a cute personality!). Anyways, back to the shot. It's really hot. It may not be something that would come out of Sports Illustrated, but still she looks really hot and confident. Lovely start for Rebecca Rose!

2.-VICTORIA

This is such a lovely shot. She looks like a swamp girl that is just coming out of the water. Her face here just looks so lovely.

3.-LAURA

This is great. I love the confidence and stare that Laura is giving here. I don't like that you can see her ribs and all, but still, it's a great shot from Ms. Sweet Laura (who I guess created controversy later on in the competition? But still, she's such a sweetheart.)

4.-HOSANNA

This is such a great shot. First off, Hosanna's body here looks fantastic. Her face also looks pretty good here and I love the simple posing. The only thing I don't like is how tense her neck is, but besides that it's a fantastic shot and she definitely worked it out.

5.-CHRISTOBELLE

This is a lovely shot of Christobelle. I love how it's very soft and romantic rather than going Men's Magazine. Overall, this is a great shot, but there's something that I've never liked about this shot that I can't put my finger on.

6.-LUCY

This is such a pretty shot of Lucy. She looks stunning here and I love how she's kind of saying "What are you looking at?!" One of Lucy's best shots.

7.-AJOH

This is such an adorable photo of Ajoh! Her skin looks SENSATIONAL here and I love the white on her. I also love her little smile in this shot. I don't like the big hoop earrings though, but besides that, great job Ajoh!

8.-TIFFANY

This is okay. Her face isn't anything special, but her eyes to look nice. Her body looks really strange though and this kind of looks like a MySpace photo.

9.-SARAH

This shot is as stiff as a surfboard. Seriously, there's pretty much nothing good about this shot except for maybe that she looks pretty. She did have a hard time at the shoot though because she was sick.

10.-OLIVIA

This shot of Olivia is okay. Her body looks nice, but she looks like she's in her 30's and that smile looks very fake and the way she positioned her arms are strange.

11.-RUBY

This isn't that good. Her face looks sleepy, the pose is boring, and her midsection looks strange.

12.-TERYL-LEIGH

And this is the beginning of the Teryl-Leigh signature sad look. Well, yeah the face is bad and her body doesn't look that good (but then again, I guess it looks good because she just had a baby, but for modeling...not really) and overally, this isn't that good of a shot.

13.-RHIANNON

This is so bad. Rhiannon looks about 40 here and her smile looks really. This is really strange though because I expected Rhiannon to look like this, but she actually was gorgeous. She had a cute personality too. But this photo, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

Up next is a Aviatrix shoot inspired by Jean Batten who is known to break tons of records through solo flights across the world. It's a pretty good shoot, but like this one it has it's misses.

In The Bikini, In The Sea/The Finale

So, this shoot was not bad, but it wasn't a completely amazing shoot, but it was decent. This was the last shoot in Benelux, so I'll be posting the final 3 group shot and my elimination order.

1.-MAXIME

This is fantastic. I love how sexy and gorgeous Maxime looks here. Her forehead looks strange here, but it's a fantastic shot nevertheless.

2.-ROSALINDE

This is pretty good. I love the confidence coming out of Rosalinde and I think her body looks great. Overall, a pretty good shot.

3.-LIANNE

This is awkward, tense, stiff, unprepared, etc. Not a good shot from Lianne, but on the bright side, at least she wasn't the absolute worst of the week like she normally is for me.

4.-DENISE

This is sooooooooooooooooooooo bad. Her smile here looks soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad here and she looks like she's leaping in a cheesy way through the meadow (or in this case, in the sea). Probably the worst shot of the cycle.

The End Of The Road

So this shoot was okay, nothing amazing. Elimination...ONE OF THE WORST ELIMINATIONS IN TOP MODEL. Let's just get the terror over with.

1.-ROSALINDE

This is gorgeous. I love how Rosalinde is getting into the car and I love her worried face like she is afraid to be seen.

2.-DENISE

This is gorgeous. Like usual, Denise looks stunning here. There's nothing completely eye-catching about this shot, but it is a gorgeous shot.

3.-QUEEN CATHARINA

ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED. ROBBED.Okay, now that I've gone through half of my anger, I really like this shot. It's kind of like Catharina has a broken-down car and is just tired and is kind of saying "What are you looking at?!" I don't really like the way she has her right leg up, but besides that, it's a pretty good shot.

4.-MAXIME

This isn't really that good. I hate to say this, but Maxime looks really stupid. I don't get the hand up in the air and that she lost her foot and she actually looks old which is really surprising since it's Maxime who looks pretty young in every shot.

5.-LIANNE

This is really bad. I hate how old Lianne looks here and the shape she's making with the dress is really strange. On the bright side, I like the Drama in the face, but she looks really old.

Time To Go Au Natural

So...this shoot was a shoot done along with last shoot in one episode. It was a beauty shoot and a full-body shoot, but I'm only going to do the beauty shot. If you are interested in seeing the whole photoshoot, then click here.

1.-ROSALINDE

Rosalinde is such a gorgeous girl and her face is shown perfectly here. I love how it's a simple shot, but it's not boring. I think this could be a perfect Cover Girl add (sure would beat Krista's).

2.-DENISE

This is stunning. Normally, I don't think Denise's smile works in shots (like last shoot and a shoot that will soon to come), but here it looks absolutely spectacular. Like Rosalinde's I really think this could be a Cover Girl ad.

3.-QUEEN CATHARINA

This is gorgeous. Her eyes look amazing here and I love how Catharina looks so soft and elegant while having such a cool, laid-back look. The only thing I don't like is those neck lines, but besides that...amazing.

4.-MAXIME

This is such a gorgeous shot. Maxime looks so pretty here and expensive. I wish her Spider shot was like that. It would have been amazing.

5.-BIANCA

This is really pretty. Bianca's face looks divine here. I love her bone structure here and how soft her face looks here. I don't like her raised arm though.

6.-LIANNE

This is really pretty, but not really that good. Lianne's eyes, like usual look gorgeous, but like usual, she looks old and she looks like she was caught off guard in this shot.

Gilette Venus Embrace Shoot

So this shoot...was nice, but not terrific. I looked at the close ups, and they actually are better than what I thought, so I'll be posting both. :)

1.-QUEEN CATHARINA

This is lovely. I love how it's very caught in the moment and how soft and romantic this shot is. Another great shot from Catharina.

2.-ROSALINDE

This is a really stunning shot of Rosalinde. Like Catharina, I love how romantic it is. It's overall a great shot.

3.-BIANCA

This is pretty much the same as Catharina's except that there's a little smile in Bianca's face that I really like.

4.-DENISE

This is totally different from the other shots. I love that there's joy in this shot rather than a dreamy stare. It's a little too cheesy though for my likings, but still it's a great shot.

5.-MAXIME

I don't really know what to think of this shot. The full body shot looks so childish like a little girl laying in a bed with her dad which isn't really good. The close up however is an improvement. I love her eyes in the shot.

6.-LIANNE

I don't think that either of these shots are good. Lianne looks really old here. Plus, I think I prefer Denise's cheesiness to Lianne's stiffness. Overall, not good.
